9 letters · one silly story · spelled right by the end
Writing "direction" five times in a row doesn't stick — by Thursday it's gone. What sticks is a picture. Give each letter of DIRECTION a character, chain them into one silly story, and your child rebuilds the word from the story every time:
D Donut 🍩 — Meet a silly Donut — the hero of our DIRECTION story!
Ask your child: Who is the hero of our story?
I Island 🏝️ — Donut pulls Island out of a magic bag.
Ask your child: What does Donut pull out?
R Rice 🍚 — Island jumps over a Rice!
Ask your child: What does Island jump over?
E Eagle 🦅 — Rice bakes an Eagle for dessert!
Ask your child: What does Rice bake?
C Cake 🎂 — Eagle discovers Cake hiding in a cave.
Ask your child: What is hiding in the cave?
T Toast 🍞 — Cake opens a box and out pops Toast!
Ask your child: What pops out of the box?
I Iguana 🦎 — Toast puts on an Iguana and looks great!
Ask your child: What does Toast put on?
O Otter 🦦 — Iguana hops on an Otter and flies away!
Ask your child: What does Iguana hop on?
N Nut 🥜 — They all shout: Hooray for Nut!
Ask your child: What do they shout hooray for?
Every story is different — regenerate until your child laughs, swap any letter's character, or let the AI write one. Works for any word, including Singapore MOE Primary 1 and Primary 2 spelling words.
